As I said in the previous post, Sofía Acosta is in charge of the second BookJockey session of the Folio programme of this Fotoseptiembre 2022. To carry out this action she is going to collaborate with 𝐹𝐸⁶ᵗᵃ, so you can’t miss it, if you are lucky enough to be reading this from Mexico. This is her approach:
This action arises from an exploration with the body and the matter of the body, understanding it as a surface or territory where bridges, paths and borders are drawn across scars, moles, memories and the marks of time. In this action, we think of the body as a space of resistance and an axis of rebelliousness. From a selection of FOLIO’s books, we show the body as a territory crossed by relations and structures of power. Social and political structures that we face on a daily basis as we move through this city and the world, structures that cross our skin and our decisions, structures of domination that awaken guilt and stigmas that mark our corporeality and mark our footsteps in the territory but, at the same time, emancipatory structures, all confronted in a permanent and complex dialectical relationship.

Como decía en el artículo anterior, Sofía Acosta se encarga de la segunda sesión BookJockey del programa Folio de este Fotoseptiembre 2022. Para llevar a cabo esta acción va a colaborar con 𝐹𝐸⁶ᵗᵃ, así que no os lo podéis perder, si tenéis la suerte de leer esto desde México. Este es su planteamiento:
Esta acción surge de una exploración con lx cuerpx y la materia del mismo, entendiéndolo como una superficie o territorio donde se dibujan puentes, caminos y fronteras que atraviesan las cicatrices, los lunares, las memorias y las marcas del tiempo. En esta acción, pensamos en el cuerpo como un espacio de resistencia y un eje de rebeldías. A partir de una selección de los libros de FOLIO, mostramos lx cuerpx como un territorio al cual le atraviesan relaciones y estructuras de poder. Estructuras sociales y políticas a las que nos enfrentamos en el día a día al transitar esta ciudad y el mundo, estructuras que atraviesan nuestra piel y nuestras decisiones, estructuras de dominación que despiertan culpas y estigmas que se marcan en nuestra corporalidad y marcan nuestras pisadas en el territorio pero, a su vez, estructuras emancipadoras, enfrentadas todas en una permanente y compleja relación dialéctica.
