Last may Paco Navamuel performed the first bookjockey session ever held in Barcelona, and it was very well welcomed by assisting audience. This session was part of 2a Setmana del Fotollibre [2nd photobook week], an event created by Román Yñán (Standard Books) as a platform to organize a series of activities around present time photobook.

Walkcelona is the title that Paco Navamuel has chosen for his version of a BookJockey session the first session ever made in Barcelona! Paco is an artist in his PhD thesis and also researches about drifting, transurbancy and walking as an anarchist practice, and walking is the topic of his session, Paco says:

Walking from suburbs to Barcelona city center through photography books.

This session is part of the ‘2nd Photobook Week‘ celebrated at Arts Santa Mònica, in Barcelona, and organized by Román Yñán, photographer and owner of Standard Books.

Ésta es la espléndida imagen, del libro de Nakahira ‘For a Language to Come’, que sirve para anunciar ésta y todas las actividades de la ‘2ª setmana del fotollibre’.

Walkcelona es el título que Paco Navamuel ha dado a su versión de una sesión BookJockey, la primera en Barcelona, ¡ya era hora! Paco es un artista que está realizando su tesis doctoral e investiga sobre la deriva, la transurbancia y el caminar como práctica anarquista, y sobre caminar tratará su bookjockey, Paco nos dice:

Caminar desde la periferia hasta el centro de Barcelona a través de los libros de fotografía.
