Today is summer solstice, and sun is heating outside here in Madrid, northern hemisphere, and north of Tropic of Cancer, where we noticed a lot that today is the longest day of the year. Yes, another great day to celebrate a BookJockey session. Not here, but in Mexico City. Folio is organizing the Week for books and photos, and one of the activities today us a session to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Mexican Council for Photography, which holds a book archive founded by José Luis Neyra, and which has an important number of artists books from Latin America. Pablo Argüelles Cattori and Antonio Falcón Villalobos will show some examples of documentary photobooks from Latin America.

Hoy es el solsticio de verano, y el sol calienta bien aquí en Madrid, en el hemisferio norte, al norte del Trópico de Cáncer, donde notamos mucho que hoy es el día más largo del año. Sí, otro gran día para celebrar una sesión BookJockey. No aquí, sino en Ciudad de México. Folio organiza la Semana de libros y fotos, y una de las actividades hoy es una sesión para celebrar el 40º aniversario del Consejo Mexicano de Fotografía, que alberga un fondo bibliográfico fundado por José Luis Neyra, y que tiene un importante número de libros de artista latinoamericanos. Pablo Argüelles Cattori y Antonio Falcón Villalobos mostrarán unos ejemplos de fotolibros documentales de América Latina.
